PRELIMINARY INJUNCTIONS ARE A VICTORY FOR MISSOURI PUBLIC EMPLOYEES

JEFFERSON CITY – AFSCME Council 61 President Danny Homan issued the following statement regarding the preliminary injunctions issued Friday halting the implementation of HB 1413 and SB 1007: 

At some point this year (we still don't know when), we will receive a decision in our lawsuit that was just heard in December by the Iowa Supreme Court challenging the constitutionality of the new collective bargaining law.
